Zest Restaurant Ltd. is looking for a permanent full-time cook at Yuwa Japanese Cuisine.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Prepare and cook Japanese meals including sushi

·         Responsible for scheduling kitchen helpers

·         Instruct kitchen helpers

·         Ensure food service and quality control

·         Manage kitchen operations

·         Perform regular inventory counts and report shortages to director or manager

·         Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation area

Education, skills and experience required:

·         Completion of Secondary School

·         Several years of work experience of food preparation in commercial environment

·         Maintain exceptional hygiene and presentation

Language: Communication skills in English

Compensation:

$20.00/hour, 4% paid vacation, Tips/Gratuities, Staff meals
