Refine Group Ltd 346 Davenport Road Site 603 Toronto ON is a financial services and consulting firm specializing in outsourced CFO support, accounting, financial reporting, and strategic business advisory. The company helps small and medium‑sized businesses strengthen financial operations, improve efficiency, and make data‑driven decisions that support sustainable growth.

 

The company urgently requires a permanent, full-time FINANCIAL CONSULTANT to provide expert financial analysis, planning, and advisory services to its diverse client base.

 

DUTIES:

·        Identify clients’ financial goals and objectives and develop strategies to achieve them.

·        Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements to ensure accurate financial tracking

·        Plan, set up and administer accounting systems tailored to client needs

·        Analyze clients’ financial records to assess performance and identify improvement areas.

·        Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures and internal control

·        Prepare financial information for individuals and companies

·        Develop financial plans for clients to support client growth and stability

·        Prepare financial statements and reports including income statements, balance sheets, and cash‑flow reports.

·        Develop and maintain cost findings, reporting and internal control procedure

·        Analyze financial documents and reports to identify trends and variances.

·        Examine accounting records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.

·        Conduct variance analysis to evaluate performance against budgets and forecasts.

 

WAGE, HOURS & BENEFITS:

  • Wage: $41.34 per hour
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Overtime: Paid according to Ontario regulations; applies after 44 hours per week
  • Health care, dental and vision benefits

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • 1–2 years experience in accounting, financial analysis, auditing, or financial consulting.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and internal controls.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, SAP, or Oracle.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare detailed reports.
  • Strong communication and client‑management skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, financial modeling) considered an asset.

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Degree in accounting, finance, business administration, commerce, or a related field.
