Retail Store Chain Manager

1736177 Ontario Inc. is currently seeking a driven and experienced Retail Store Chain Manager to oversee the operations of two retail locations:

• Beauty Blossom, 59A Queen Street, Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON L0S 1J0
• Natural Blossom, Unit 253 – 6380 Fallsview Blvd, Niagara Falls, ON L2G 7Y6

Position Details:

• Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time (30 hours/week)
• Schedule: Shifts, including weekends
• Salary: $72,000 annually
• Commute between store locations is required and fully covered by the employer

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, direct, and evaluate retail operations and staff performance
• Manage daily store operations and assign duties to staff
• Analyze market trends to determine consumer demand and sales opportunities
• Decide on merchandise offerings; set pricing and credit policies
• Source vendors and negotiate terms for purchasing merchandise
• Develop and implement effective marketing strategies
• Manage budgets, authorize expenditures, and monitor revenue performance
• Oversee customer service standards and address client concerns
• Handle staffing needs, including hiring, training, and retention of employees

Qualifications:

• Completion of secondary school is required
• 3-4 years of progressive experience in retail or wholesale sales
• Strong proficiency in English and excellent customer service skills
