Victoria Fujiya Foods Ltd. is looking for a permanent full-time Cook.

Duties and Responsibilities:

– Prepare and cook Japanese meals for bento (boxed meals), deli menus, and other catering menus

– Plan and create new menus and ensure food meets quality standards

– Instruct kitchen staff in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food

– Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment

– Clean kitchen and work area

Education, skills and experience required:

– Completion of secondary school

– Several years of experience of food preparation in commercial environment

Language: English

Compensation: $23.00/hour, 40 hrs/week, 10 days paid vacation
