- Reliable transportation is essential due to lack of public transportation. Staff housing available on site, only for the employee for $250/month. This includes utilities, cable TV, wifi
- Employment conditions: must be flexible to work any assigned shift including Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, and holidays.
Languages: English
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year. Completion of a program related to maintenance could replace the requirement for any experience
On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Work setting: Hotel, motel, resort
Responsibilities and Tasks
- Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs
- Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
- Perform minor repairs on appliances
- Perform safety and security checks
- Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies
- Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Maintain inventory of equipment
- Maintain inventory of supplies
- Perform minor property maintenance
- Assist skilled tradespersons
- Any other duties as directed

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, physically demanding, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Hand-eye co-ordination
