(Catering Services Manager)
We are looking for a well-experienced Catering Service Manager for the catering firm “Cleese Catering” located at 11 Carlaw Ave, Toronto, ON M4M 2R6, Canada.

Job Duties:
- Plan, organize, direct, and oversee daily catering operations, including the preparation and delivery of authentic South Indian cuisine for corporate, private, and special events.
- Coordinate staffing, equipment, transportation, production schedules, and service logistics to ensure the successful execution of catering events.
- Work closely with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure South Indian menu offerings are prepared and presented in accordance with company quality standards and client requirements.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate catering staff, ensuring adherence to customer service standards, food safety regulations, and operational procedures.
- Liaise with clients to confirm event details, menus, dietary requirements, timelines, and service expectations while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory, oversee the procurement of food products, ingredients, and catering supplies, and implement effective cost-control measures.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, occupational health, and company policies while maintaining consistent service quality across all catering operations.
- Prepare operational reports, monitor budgets and labour costs, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, profitability, and the overall quality of catering services.
Prerequisites:
Education: Secondary School or equivalent experience
Experience & Skills: 5 years or more experience in catering
Language: English
Hourly Rate: $36 to $37 for 30 to 40 Hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Full-time and permanent
Benefits: 4 % Vacation Pay
