We are looking for a well experienced Cook for a well-known pizza Store “Sooke Pizzability” located at 2668 Sooke Road, Langford, BC V9B 1Y6, Canada. However, you may be required to work at a secondary location within the region.

JOB DUTIES:
- Prepare and cook complete meals and individual food items, including pizzas, in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings, and assemble pizzas to meet consistency, portion, and presentation requirements.
- Operate and monitor pizza ovens to ensure appropriate cooking temperatures, baking times, and product quality.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies, and maintain adequate inventory levels for daily kitchen operations.
- Maintain inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment, and assist in stock rotation and storage.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and train them in food preparation, cooking techniques, and safe food handling practices.
- Clean kitchen and work areas, including equipment and food preparation surfaces, to maintain sanitation standards.
- Other duties or responsibilities as assigned or required.
Prerequisites:
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience & Skills: 5 years or more
Language: English
Hourly Rate: $20 to $22 per Hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
Benefits: 4 % Vacation Pay
