On-site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Work setting: Urban area, Retail business
Main duties:
- Assign sales workers to duties
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
- Order merchandise
- Authorize return of merchandise
- Establish work schedules
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
Requirements:
Education: Completion of Secondary School is required
Experience: 2-3 years of experience is required
Language: English
Supervision: 5-10 people
Art or fashion design experience: Accessories, Footwear, Children’s clothing
Area of specialization: Clothing, Retail store
Transportation/travel information: Own transportation, Public transportation is available
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking and Standing for extended periods
